Purdue Volleyball Team On The Road

Since the Boilers have had two tough losses in Big Ten play, they are hoping for a readjustment in their attitudes and how they practice. Their first loss was to #1 Penn State on September 26, then the second loss was to #13, Minnesota Gophers this past Saturday. As said in The Exponent, this week the team is going to be “refocusing” on their attitudes and how they spend their time during practice. The team is realizing that it is important for them to perform well during practice, because they are noticing that the way they play during practice is the way they play at on the court.

With a record of 13-3, 2-2 Big Ten, Purdue will be facing harder opponents these upcoming weeks, which include six ranked teams. The boilermakers are facing Michigan (2-2 in Big Ten) this Friday in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This should be a really good match, considering the Boilermakers and the Wolverines are tied in The Big Ten. Then on Sunday, the Boilermakers travel to Ohio State to face the Buckeyes (1-3 in Big Ten).

Let’s hope this weeks worth of practicing pays off for the Boilers when they travel to both places this weekend. Hopefully they have changed the way they practiced before and are improving their skills on the court!
