Another good day for Bears fans. Today the Bears took on the the Vikings at home, it was a very good game and it had intense back and fourth action throughout the whole game. The game was very intense and the Bears just played a phenomenal game on both offense and defense.
I'll start by talking about how amazing the Bears offense was. Orton threw for 283 yards and completed 21 0f his 32 passes. He has been on fire lately, Orton in the last 5 games has been averaging 274.0 yards a game and also he has had ten touchdowns in the last 5 starts. Kyle Orton has really started to show what he can do, these past couple of games he has really been on his A game and if he keeps it up I think that we will be able to see this team going somewhere. As long as the defense does there job. The defense and special teams played so well today, the defense had four interceptions on the vikings QB Gus Frerotte. The special teams caught a nice break, the first one came on a strange sequence in the opening quarter, when Chris Kluwe dropped a snap and had his punt blocked. He then attempted an illegal kick, and Garette Wolfe scooped it up and returned it 17 yards for a touchdown. Later, Charles Gordon messed up a punt by Brad Maynard when he tried to block Bowman. Instead, the ball hit him and Bowman recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown that gave Chicago a 24-17 lead. All in all the bears played a great game and now they just have to keep it up.
