Bye-Week, 7-0..Can They Keep It That Way?

Most of you have already heard about Donte Love’s injury during the Ball State and Indiana game a few weeks back. The Ball State Cardinals are suffering on their receiving yards. It’s not because Love is out of the game though. Davis, a junior at Ball State, has been throwing his lowest passing yard sense his sophomore year. So should the Cardinals go with a passing game with TE Hill or a running game with Lewis for their next match up against Eastern Michigan?

Me personally, I think they should go with running with Lewis. He is one of the top runners in the nation with yards and touchdowns. He also has a dominate offensive line who has the extreme ability to block and create gaps for Lewis to break through.
Luckily, the Cardinals have a bye week, so that gives them time to decide which one they will go with. This bye week is well needed so that the team can recupe from there past few weeks of hard playing, considering the big part of their season is yet to come.

With a record of 7-0 thus far this season, let’s hope they can continue it next week. They have a lot to figure out within this week, but hopefully they will figure something out to keep their season undefeated!

On a side note, word is that Love is considering going out for the Ball State baseball team so he can stay in athletics at the University to end his senior year. More word on that later.
