Tomorrow is the battle for the Old Oaken Bucket as our beloved Boilers set to face off against their hated rivals, the Indiana Hoosiers. The game looks to be a juggernaut matchup as the two teams have a combined two conference wins between them. In addition to the coveted Old Oaken Bucket, also up for grabs is last place in the Big Ten. Boy, this is going to be an exciting one folks. Purdue is coming off an impressive loss to Iowa in which they only lost by five. The team is showing definite signs of improvement as that is the smallest margin of defeat Purdue has had since week 2’s loss to Oregon. Meanwhile, Indiana also showed flashes of dominance last week in a 34-7 loss to Penn State. You can definitely say that both teams will be red hot coming into this Saturday’s game.
For Purdue, it looks like fifth-year senior Curtis Painter will get the nod at quarterback and why not? He has put up huge numbers this year throwing eight touchdowns to just ten interceptions. I mean c’mon, those numbers just scream efficiency. Also playing his last game for Purdue will be wide receiver Desmond Tardy. When asked what his plans were for after the season, Tardy said he was planning a trip to New York. He is going for New Year’s Eve and plans on dropping the ball at midnight. (Alright, that was bad)
Saturday will bring an end to the career of legendary coach “Sheriff” Joe Tiller. Tiller was the master at making mediocrity acceptable and he will surely be missed. His replacement, Tiller-Look-Alike Danny Hope, will begin a new era next year and is already turning heads with his recruiting. Hope has received a whopping 10 commitments already with six two-star recruits heading the impressive class. The class is good enough for last in the Big Ten and the future is looking bright for Purdue.

Anyway, this is where I normally predict a score so here it goes:
Purdue-28
Indiana-22
Purdue-28
Indiana-22

haha these two teams are terrible. I agree with you, that was a battle of the titans for sure. but i don't think the future of Purdue football is that bleak. But whatever, at least i can be Danny Hope for halloween and not have to buy a new costume since i was Joe Tiller last year.
