Texas Tech one game away from being #1

Tomorrow is going to be an important day in college football for several reasons. The Old Oaken Bucket is up for grabs, Purdue head coach Joe Tiller coaches his last game tomorrow and along with all that second ranked Texas Tech is playing fifth ranked Oklahoma in a game that can seriously impact these two teams shot at the national title. Basically the Oklahoma Sooners are the only team standing in the way of the number one spot that Texas Tech wants. Kickoff is tomorrow night at 7 and it is at Oklahoma.

So far Texas has beaten three straight ranked teams, with a combined total of 158 points in those three games. A win tomorrow night wold make it four and it would also improve their record to 11-0. This is huge for Texas Tech, because they have never finished a season ranked in the top ten, nor have they ever played in one of the four bowl games. So a win tomorrow night would just add to the team's already spectacular season. It's going to be tough to pull off because Oklahoma isn't going to be an easy win, but if they pull it off and win the Texas Tech Red Raiders will be a serious contender for the national championship.

I feel that in tomorrow nights game the quarterbacks are going to play a huge role in the outcome of the game. Both teams have really good QB's and they both have the potential to put up big numbers. The Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford  leads the nation with the most touchdowns (38) and he also has just under 3500 passing yards this season. On the other side of the field Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell has thrown for 36 touchdowns this season, and he leads the nation in passing with over 4000 yards. It's apparent that both teams are set when it comes to the QB position.

Tomorrow nights game is going to be a must see and I strongly encourage anybody who is interested in college football to watch this game, it is going to be an exciting one that can decide what happens for both teams in the upcoming weeks.

I was mad that i missed the Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma game but i wasn't expecting to see that the game was that big of a blowout. I really though that Texas Tech had good chance to win that game but i was way off. 65-21, the only way Oklahoma could have won by more was if they were playing IU.
