Ball State University proved that they are a good team this by starting off the season with a 5-0 record. One of those wins was against a Big Ten School, Indiana University. People are saying that Ball State is one of the better college teams this year in the state of Indiana. Can this be true?
They started off their season with a 48-14 win over Northeastern. Then a win over Navy, 35-23. The cardinals then traveled to Akron, Ohio where they defeated them 41-24. The Hoosiers hosted the Cardinals on September 20, where Ball State pulled off the win with a score of 42-20. That was the high light game of the season thus far. Yesterday was the Cardinals homecoming against Kent State, where they improved their winning record to 5-0, with a score of 41-20.
Ball State Cardinals will be on the road next week, traveling to Toledo, Ohio. Toledo has a record of 1-3, so Ball State should be in favor of winning this game. But the question is, will the Cardinals let their perfect season get their heads and blow against an underdog team? We will find next week on Saturday at 7 p.m.
