The Bears smash the Colts

Hello everyone and welcome to our first issue ever of the Purdue Sports Brigade. If your into sports of all types then this is the place for you. The topic for this week is the Da BEARS!! I mean how bout them Bears? As we all know the Bears QB Kyle Orton went to Purdue and had a pretty good career there with 8,918 passing yards and 60 touchdowns. This past week the Colts hosted the Bears in their brand new Lucas Oil Stadium, which by the way is amazing. I think they could have come up with a way better name, but thats neither here nor there. Last week the Bears put on a spectacular performance beating the Colts 29 to 13. The defense played an amazing game forcing the Colts to a safety in the second quarter. Brian Urlacher lead the defense with a total of 8 tackles. Kyle Orton could have played a little bit better with an overall 61.9% completion rating and a mediocre QB rating of 83.4. Regardless of the stats last week the fact of the matter is that the Bears went into that game as huge underdogs and came out on top.
